Admission requirements for Stevens Institute of Technology

Though we do not have a minimum GPA or SAT requirement for admission,

here is a snapshot of what the incoming Fall 2021 class scored:

Middle 50%:

• 1390-1490 SAT,
• 31-34 ACT
• 3.88 average GPA

Keep in mind we will be test optional for SAT/ACT for Fall 2023.

There is no minimum score for either section of the SAT, unless you are using the Evidence Based Reading and Writing score for English proficiency.

• TOEFL (minimum 80 iBT)
• IELTS (minimum 6.0 overall)
• Duolingo English Test (minimum 105)
• Pearson PTE Academic Test (minimum 53)
• SAT I Evidence-Based Reading & Writing (minimum 550)
• English proficiency waivers may be granted on a case by case basis for international students who have studied in the US for at least 3 years from the time of application.
