Southeastern is really nice school to study computer science or Information technology major.

I studied Information technology, which is very similar to Computer science the only difference is it has less mathematics curriculum. So in a way i could use the time away from Maths to learn more about programming and make different kind of application.

Also, the international community culture @ selu is Very Progressive. When i came to Southeastern I saw inspired by sophomores, juniors and seniors who were already in the shoes i wanted to be. They were doing internships in the field, School provided multiple on campus jobs related to the field. Which pushed me to study hard, focus on the course. I am really glad i choose southeastern.

Also the courses and the classes are designed to get the hand's on experience. We started doing classroom projects from 3rd semester known as CMPS 285(Software Engineering). This helped majority of students to set on a traction.

So i can say that choosing Southeastern for IT or Computer Science major is a GOOD decision.
